Ashbourne Woods is a beautiful woodland camping site catering for all types of camping, glamping and overnight stays that specialises in wild and semi wild camping within 68 acres of woodlands.
There are also gravel pitches for camper vans and caravans with electric hook up and water facilities around the reception area which has toilets, showers, and a laundry/ washing up area with hot and cold water and coin operated laundry machines. We have firepits available on all pitches so you can enjoy a safe but atmospheric evening around an open fire.
Our camping areas are precious, so we encourage guests not to drive vehicles on the grass. We provide wheelbarrows to take your belongings to your pitch.
COVID19 social distancing is required at All Shower and Toilet Blocks. Notices are clearly displayed and hand gel supplied.

Ashbourne Woods is truly the home of wild camping in Devon. Our surrounding Woodlands provide fantastic pitches for our guests to camp right up next to nature. Why not light a fire in one of our fire pits for that true outdoor experience?

"Great place to stay for camping, we stayed on a wild pitch and it was nice and secluded but with the benefit of the showers and toilets not too far away. Laura who showed us to the pitch was lovely and friendly. Fire pit on every pitch and firewood available to buy. We left a night early but only due to us not enjoying camping in the rain. If you like the sounds of nature this is for you as we had some wonderful owl sounds and great view of the stars"
